Our Choice for Patient Care

The majority of our procedures are conducted at Windsor Private Hospital, which is situated adjacent to Avenue Plastic Surgery. Our patients benefit from their high standard of patient care and state-of-the-art environment run by senior management, meticulously trained nurses and experienced anaesthetists. Windsor Private Hospital is passionate about the patient experience and committed to innovation.

Below is a recent statement by Dr Grant Brace, Senior Anaesthetist at Windsor Private Hospital.

“Nausea and vomiting is an unpleasant side effect experienced by some patients after anaesthesia.

Recent clinical studies conducted at the Mercy Hospital for Women, Melbourne, have shown the beneficial effects of chewing peppermint flavoured chewing gum after anaesthesia in relieving the nausea and vomiting experienced by some of it’s patients.

Windsor Private Hospital, which prides itself on the delivery of high level medical care, will be the first private hospital in Melbourne to introduce the use of peppermint flavoured chewing gum to treat nausea and vomiting following anaesthesia as an initial alternative to drug therapy.”
