In recent years there has been a major shift from surgical to non-surgical procedures for facial rejuvenation.

Non-surgical procedures, such as thread lifts, fillers, muscle relaxation therapies and laser skin tightening, can have dramatic results in reversing the signs of ageing such as jowls, wrinkles, and thinning lips.

The fact that these procedures can be performed on a “walk in walk out” basis makes them extremely popular. For example, a Silhouette Soft Thread Lift takes less than an hour to refresh and lift the skin. An incision is made on either side of the face and a suture inserted with a fine needle. The threads are massaged upwards to tighten the skin. The incision is very minimal and usually closes over by the next day, leaving you with amazing results and no scarring.

We also offer High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) and Fotona Laser 4D Facelift treatments. HIFU is an effective way to jumpstart your skins collagen production, lift muscle and tone the skin. without any downtime. Fotona treatments are also great for collagen and uses lasers to minimise skin imperfections.

You can combine non-surgical procedures or have them performed separately, this depends on your requirements and time available for recovery.

Surgical facelifts have also changed with the recognition that “less is more”. Patients are opting for smaller fixes to achieve a more natural looking result.  A surgical facelift is especially effective for facial skin laxity causing prominent jowls and sagging neck skin. At APS we respect the integrity and unique structure of your face. We use minimally invasive incisions to tighten the muscles in the face and use your own fat to help restore a youthful glow. These techniques help achieve high safety levels, a natural result and fast recovery time. In our skilled hands, , a facelift can be done as a Day Case, sometimes even under local anaesthetic.

Often a facelift is combined with eyelid surgery to provide a complete facial rejuvenation.

It’s important to remember that everyone is different. To find out what option would be best for you we recommend booking a consultation at our clinic.
